About Me

I am a Technical Sales and Marketing executive with 29 years of experience in Mechanical, Environmental, Civil and Chemical Engineering.   I have worked across organizations that consult, provide contract research, design and development, and manufacture medical devices, components and high tech equipment.  My results have come from a unique ability to build relationships, connect people, and translate between business and technical audiences — bringing Business Development and Marketing into how I sell.

I love being the bridge between visionary business leaders and the engineers required to execute. I am customer-centric and pride myself on achieving results that benefit all involved.  My experience has demonstrated that building productive relationships between a company’s product organization and targeted customers is essential to mutually successful programs.  Most of my career has been focused on helping earlier stage businesses build the customer-base and operational infrastructure that led to their growth and ultimate sale, through Technical Sales leadership roles or as CEO/GM.

I’m passionate about enabling technology and have been an active participant in the scientific, academic and business communities, presenting and publishing and as a co-chair of multiple conferences and workshops across disparate industries.

I hold board positions with the Golden Gate Polymer Forum and am an active member of the Biomedical Engineering and American Chemical Societies.  Throughout the years, I have volunteered as an instructor for STEM-related elementary and middle school programs, teaching about technical and support opportunities available for women.

I am currently working as an Associate at David Schnur Associates, a supplier of specialized materials, components, design and manufacturing services to the medical device, aerospace, electronics and other industries.  This follows 15 years in the plasma surface modification industry.
